PORK ROASTS Pick from a variety of pork roasts to develop
your recipe. Start with a loin or rib roast, tenderloin, or a special-
occasion crown roast. Marinate the meat for extra flavor, give
it an herb rub before roasting, or brush it with a glaze the last
minutes of cooking. Another option is to stuff the roast with an
herbed or fruit-studded stuffing. Also serve slices with a spicy or
fruity sauce or a chunky salsa.
OH, FUDGE Try your hand at varying the chocolate in a newly
created fudge recipe. Use unsweetened, semisweet, bittersweet,
or white chocolate in your recipe. Or how about creating a maple,
brown sugar, coffee, peanut butter, or butterscotch-flavored
fudge? Make it a cooked fudge, or skip the cooking and just stir
ingredients together. Layer different flavors or create a recipe
filled with dried fruits, nuts, or marshmallows. Send us your
original candy recipe.
